The Power of One-on-One: Why We Start Solo

Creating a foundation of confidence today for happier, more social walks tomorrow.

Think of socialisation as a "world tour" rather than just a trip to the dog park!

While playing with pals is great, true socialisation is about teaching your dog to be a calm, confident "main character" in any situation—whether they’re passing a noisy bus or a hyper puppy.

If a dog only ever runs and wrestles with others, they can become a bit of a "frustrated greeter" on the lead, thinking every dog they see is an invitation to party.

To set your pup up for success, I start with solo 1:1 walks. This "me and you" time is where the magic happens:

  • Bonding: We build a rock-solid relationship and focus.

  • Confidence: Your dog explores the world at their own pace without distractions.

  • Real-Life Skills: We’ll still see other dogs, but I’ll use those moments to teach them how to stay cool, calm, and collected.

I love a good pack walk, and I definitely offer group sessions! However, every new member starts with these solo adventures first.

This ensures everyone in the crew is happy, relaxed, and gets the individual attention they deserve as we grow the pack..
